Original: Jack and his sister, Jill, were found wandering around in eastern Virginia with no collars. They were taken to the local shelter and efforts were made to find their owners. When that effort was unfruitful, MAESSR was called and asked to take these two sweeties. These dogs were obviously loved and cared for by someone. Jack checked out well when he visited the vet and has none of the many, minor health issues that strays often need help with. He’s a healthy, young adult!
Jack is housebroken and will get on furniture. He is crate trained and knows some commands including “sit”, “down”, and “stay.” Like most self-respecting Springers, he will counter surf if given the opportunity, rides well in the car and absolutely adores children. He has met a 5-year-old in his foster home and did great.
More will be posted on Jack as his personality begins to shine in foster care.
