Hunter was turned in to a New Jersey shelter when his family decided that now that the children were older, they really did not have time for him. He spent several weeks at the shelter before MAESSR found out he was there. Then, he was pulled and placed in a MAESSR foster home.
Unfortunately, as Hunter’s true personality emerged while he was in foster care, it was clear that he would not be suitable for adoption.
