Harley has been with her current family since she was a puppy. She is housebroken, good with children and toddlers. Harley also likes other dogs and animals. She currently lives on about 2.5 acres with a goat, pig, etc. and she gets along with them. She only tolerates cats.
Harley doesn’t bark any more than most Springers, doesn’t chew but she is a digger. She likes to chew on the bushes and pull them out.
Harley is a small Springer and weighs about 35-40 pounds. She’s very affectionate, crate-trained and loves the car. Her parents were champion hunters. Harley walks well on a leash but could use a refresher course in obedience.
Harley is being surrendered because “her” teenager is not taking care of her. As a result, she is spending way too much time crated or in the garage. So, we are trying to find a home where someone has time for Harley, other dogs and kids would be great. She would probably do better where there were not any cats.
Apparently, calling MAESSR was only a threat by the parents. After MAESSR invested time and effort to find a good home for this girl, the teenager was given another change to take care of her. We hope that it works out for Harley.
