Original: “She is truly a special girl that will steal someone’s heart in a half a second.”
Hannah and three other dogs found themselves needing to be re-homed when their North Carolina owner passed away and no family members were willing to take them in. Hannah is blind and a total love bug who maneuvers well and has adapted to her foster home where she is living with two other English Springers. She has met the three year old twins and their six year old sister who live next door and loved the gentle pats and love coming from the children.
Her foster mom showed her where her water bowls were once and now she finds them on her own. When she hears, “potty,” she comes toward the door. This love is completely housetrained. She has claimed a spot on the couch and that is where she likes to lie. She walks freely in the fenced in yard and does well on a leash. She only barks and woo woo’s when her foster dad comes home; in spite of having had a female owner, she loves her new guy.
The first night in her foster home Mom added an extra blanket to the dog bed on the floor of the bedroom and patted the dog bed for Hannah to lie down. Seriously, Mom?? As soon as Hannah “saw” where the rest of the family was sleeping, she put her two paws on the bed and whined to get up. So, now, she sleeps in bed with her two foster parents and two resident English Springers, along with various toys, of course.
Hannah loves to sit next to her people, be petted, talked to and loved. She is truly a special girl that will steal someone’s heart in a half a second. Her ideal home would be with a person or a family that is looking for a cuddle bunny to sit on the couch next to them, sleep next to them in bed and just be loved. She wants to be with people and wants to be touched. She is a wonderful companion.
