Hello, my name is Ginger. I am a petite liver and white female. I came to MAESSR along with one of my pups (Owen), my puppy’s father (Buster), and two of his pups Neeko and a puppy from another female. My foster home is in Galloway, NJ. I was still a teenager when I first gave birth and spent a good deal of time being a mother since then. Now Mom says I need to spend time concentrating on myself and finding my inner puppy. If you had seen me when I came to my foster mom, you would not recognize me compared to my picture now. My hair was long but not flowing. It was matted with pine sap and mud. After a couple of baths and a really bad hair cut from Mom, I spent the day at the spa and now look at me!
After the spa I got a quick nap and it was off to the vet’s. They took blood, gave me shots, cleaned my ears (again) and told Mom I have Lyme Disease which they are treating with medicine. I heard them make an appointment for me to return in 3 weeks, and if I am over the Lyme, they will spay me???
I grew up with three kids and liked when they played with me. I am not a big eater, but mom says I need a few pounds on me. You can take my food away and I don’t mind. I will walk on a leash but prefer to walk along side off leash since I will come when you call me. I love to go in the car. Take me anywhere, any time and I will sit next to you and even rest my paw on your arm. I will sit and lay down. I have not found my voice yet. I did let out one small woof, but I am very quiet. I have been to work with Mom and met tons of people who all made a big fuss over me. It was fun, and I can visit again soon.
I have not been in the crate. I am housebroken and do not counter surf.
Can you give Ginger the love and attention that she deserves?
