Gideon is a six year old liver and white male. The owners are working on having Gideon neutered. He is being surrendered because the owner has become ill and can no longer care for him. Gideon was originally rescued five years ago when his original owner died. He has been with the same family since his first rescue.
Gideon is housebroken and good with children and toddlers. He is good with other dogs, but he has not had the opportunity to meet a cat. He likes the family bird. He does not chew, dig, or bark excessively. He has not tried to jump the four-foot fence that encloses his yard. He is crate-trained and will go in it from time to time on his own for a nap.
Gideon is very good on a leash and knows sit, shake, roll over, and stay. He likes to play fetch and will retrieve a stick or ball from the water. Gideon likes to ride in a car, but he does whine with excitement. Gideon has a slight allergy to ragweed. Gideon is in great shape. He will occasionally sneak and get on the furniture when he thinks that no one is watching.
Gideon has an excellent temperament and would make someone a happy springer owner!
