Original: “He also loves to fetch his ball and would do it 24/7 if his human was capable of doing so.”
Along with his littermate, Ringo, George came to MAESSR from Tennessee due to his family’s divorce. Well cared for and obviously loved dearly, he’s just an absolutely beautiful boy.
Impeccably groomed, gorgeous George is a little sweetheart who just loves to cuddle with his people on the couch. He’s definitely a “Curious George” too; he likes to be involved in everything his foster parents do – cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc.
A very energetic youngster, George is great with other dogs in the house and loves to play with them. He also loves to fetch his ball and would do it 24/7 if his human was capable of doing so. After destroying four balls and six toys in two days, his family got smart and provided him with Kong toys. So far they’re still in good shape!
George is housetrained and when he needs to go out he signals by whining and running to the door. He has very good house manners. There are no attempts at counter-surfing or garbage eating, although the garbage is not readily available for him to try. Like many Springers, George eats his food at a breakneck pace. His foster parents are working with him to make mealtime a little more leisurely.
Crate trained, George is used to being in his crate when his family is out and at bedtime. With a little training he should be fine without the crate. Because he’s a very smart boy, his foster parents are working with George on his training and teaching him commands. This is going very well and they believe that he would be a good candidate for agility training. George’s leash skills are already quite good. There’s no tugging or pulling for this polite guy!
This beautiful boy is full of life and love. He’s just waiting for a family who will give him the love, guidance, and attention he deserves.
