Original: Fozie Bear, or Fozie depending on the moment, was a stray and located in a Pennsylvania shelter when a MAESSR volunteer pulled him. He is a smaller springer with a full, bushy tail. He was given one bath and will be groomed this week.
It is believed that Fozie has been an inside dog. He will go into his gated area or the crate when told. He knows basic commands and to give his paw. He has a very high-pitched bark but will “quiet” upon request. He loves natural bones and will chew on them. He absolutely loves to sleep on his back with his feet in the air. What an endearing and amusing sight!! He has been great with the three resident female dogs in his foster home and waits for his bowl to be filled to eat. He is fine with his family taking toys or bones away from him.
Fozie needs a family that will work with him on his leash manners and will run and play with him, giving him plenty of needed exercise. He is a sweet dog who wants to snuggle and give his people wet kisses. He could slip into many a home and become a loving family member quickly and easily. Can you make space for this sweet Fozie Bear in your home?
