Original: “He is a bit of a nut on the leash, but is learning to walk right. The problem is there are so many wonderful things in the world to see and smell and chase and . . . .”
Dudley was purchased as a baby puppy by his North Carolina family. The family was a little older and had forgotten just how active a Springer puppy could be. They did their best to make it work, but finally realized Dudley was more than they could handle. They made the difficult decision to let him find a home that would keep up with him. So now Dudley is a MAESSR boy!
This wild and crazy Springer boy loves to play with toys. He is a bit of a nut on the leash, but is learning to walk right. The problem is there are so many wonderful things in the world to see and smell and chase and . . . .
Please note that MAESSR only places puppies in homes that are committed to training and bonding with the pup in obedience classes. Puppies require a lot of care, attention, and patience, and they do chew on things! The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious commitment. To reinforce this commitment, MAESSR requires all adopters of dogs one year old and younger to enroll their puppy in obedience classes within 60 days of adoption. Dudley will undoubtedly be a star pupil!
Dudley is 95% reliably housetrained and he is also crate trained. That is where he sleeps at night and when his foster parents are at work.
This cute little boy is puppy perfect. All he needs is a loving family who will give him the love and training and exercise to make his life complete!
