When Diamond’s owner in Virginia was no longer able to care for her financially or physically, a family member contacted MAESSR to help find her a forever home.
Diamond is a little shy when first meeting new people. Her foster mom believes that she did not get much socialization in her original home. Diamond has made a lot of progress in the two weeks in her foster home; in fact, she has started playing with the other dogs and has become a major cuddler with her foster parents. She loves toys, but balls are Diamond’s favorite! She would love to have a special someone in her new home who would toss a ball to her.
Since arriving at her foster home, Diamond has not counter-surfed and has shown excellent house manners. She is crate-trained, but her foster parents do not feel the need to confine this polite girl. Diamond really prefers the couch to a crate! When it comes to getting out of the house, this pretty girl rides well in a car. On a walk she will pull on the leash initially, but quickly settles down.
Look no further for a perfect gem. This well-polished Diamond is definitely going to be someone’s BEST FRIEND!
