Original: This is a wonderful boy. He is sweet and loving. He is fresh into foster care after being pulled from a shelter. From his looks, he has probably been an outside dog and been fairly neglected. He has long horrible mats, check out the ones in the picture above. He is also heartworm positive. We hope/expect that because he is so young, he will bounce back from the treatment quickly.
Darwin is a fence jumper. We will not be placing him with home that will give him unsupervised access to a fenced in yard.
He doesn’t know how to sit, walk on a leash, or just about anything. The one thing he does know is how to love people. Could he love you?
Update: Lucky boy Darwin! He found a home to call his own!!
