Although Daisy began her life as a Christmas gift for a family in 2008, sadly, this family went through a divorce and Daisy became a victim of the split up. MAESSR was contacted to find her a new home.
Daisy is the epitome of an English Springer Spaniel. She is loving, intelligent and exuberant, getting along well with other dogs, small children, and cats. This young lady is extremely well-housetrained. Her foster mom finds her totally trustworthy running loose in the house. She is pretty close to being the perfect Springer except she also possesses the typical Springer trait of counter-surfing and trash hunting. So, she will need some guidance with these issues as she grows old with her forever family.
Daisy has never had any formal training and is learning some new commands at her foster home. Since she is such a young girl, she would benefit by taking obedience training which is a MAESSR requirement for adopted dogs a year and younger. She could be the star student. It’s just that she needs to learn some basics, such as walking on a leash, “sit” and “stay.” No one has taught her how to do these things. She is also crate trained and her foster mom finds her to be a very quick learner.
If you want a loving, loyal Springer in your family, pick this daisy!
