Cocoa was raised with two children, girls ages 4.5 and 9.5 years old. Cocoa stays in the crate during the day and at night. Her current owner feels this is not fair to Cocoa. Coco is very active and will accidently knock the youngest girl down. Cocoa is trying to release some of her energy from staying in the crate. Cocoa is in need of obedience training. Cocoa has not had the opportunity to become the good girl that she strives to be. She wants to love on everyone and does this by jumping on people for attention. Cocoa loves to give springer licks!
Cocoa likes to run up and down the fence line to play with the dog next door. Cocoa prefers to have her human family in the yard when she is outside. She will bark if left alone for too long.
It is hard for a stranger to coax Cocoa out of her crate. Once when she went to the groomer, she would not come out of the crate until her owners came back to get her.
Cocoa is housebroken and crate-trained. She knows sit and will come to you when she is in her yard or house. She pulls when walked on a leash.
Cocoa likes to play with her ball and will bring it back for more play!
Her owner said that Cocoa is just too active for her family. They did not read up on springers before purchasing her and had no idea of the activity level of a springer. They thought that after a year, Cocoa would be content to find a spot and be comfortable.
Cocoa is looking for a home with kids to play with and someone willing to take her to obedience classes!
