Chloe just wants love. This 11-month-old female came to MAESSR as her owners no longer had time for her. Bought as a puppy and once an active part of the family, Chloe slowly became an afterthought in the family. Kept in the garage with little social interaction when MAESSR became involved, she is a true sponge for love. There is not a mean bone in her body. She is a small female, about 35 pounds, but all heart. She enjoys the other dogs in the foster home and just yearns to be part of the family and sharing in activities (her helpful painting assistance is evidenced in the photos!).
Chloe loves to go on walks and is learning to carry her leash. She will run to the gate to go for a walk and will gyrate in her excitement to walk. She loves to play and has played well with other dogs. She has shown a curiosity with cats but has not been tested with cats. Cats and very young children would not be recommended given her still youthful antics. Butterflies and fireflies beware as Chloe loves to chase them all around the yard.
Chloe will shine as a therapy dog and will definitely need obedience class. She has learned “sit” but “stay” or “wait” is not in her vocabulary. She does not crate well but has been left alone with no problems. She is fully housebroken and except for stray laundry items (overlooked by the foster home!) she does not chew. Chloe will be the special dog of someone’s lifetime and best companion for anyone fortunate enough to adopt her
