Cheyenne is a sweet girl who was dropped at the Humane Society when the son of her first family of seven years wouldn’t take care of her anymore. Cheyenne is a very sweet girl. She was an outside dog and was very matted, which is why she is shaved down. She was an angel at the vet’s as they gave her all her shots. She sat in a waiting room filled with other dogs, cats and a rabbit without blinking an eye for an hour. She gets along great with her foster brothers (currently four, from 2 to 13 yrs old) and she loves our four-year-old son. She just stares at the neighbor’s cat and our house rabbits. [Our rabbits are very good judges of character when it comes to predators, and Cheyenne is the first dog we’ve brought into the house that they came out of their cage for on the first night.].
Cheyenne is a major love-bug. She lies at your feet, puts her head in your lap and loves belly rubs and ear scratches. She sits beautifully but is not leash-trained (we’re working on that). She is not at all food-aggressive and will content herself on the floor next to your bed (although she would prefer to be next to you on the sofa, she gets down when told no.
Update 6/30/03:
Unfortunately, Cheyenne had to be put to sleep for biting.
