Update 9/17/03:
Charly has been adopted into a wonderful home!
Original
Charly is a sweet girl looking for a new home due to her owner aging and not being able to take care of her as she has done. Her owner lives in a townhouse and is not able to walk her up and down the steps, therefore wants to do the right thing for Charly before it is too late.
Charly has been well taken care of in her life. She is still very active but settles nicely inside. She lives on a golf course and it is reported that if she gets loose she loves to chase golf carts with another canine buddy in the area. Charly has not really been around children, and it is reported that she will chase cats. She is good with other dogs that she has met but intimidated by large dogs. She has never been aggressive with other dogs. She is very well-behaved and knows sit and come and heels on leash. She is even good off-leash. Charly is house-trained and crate-trained. She sleeps in her crate at night.
Charly will bark sometimes when needed and may be just a little shy sometimes. She is afraid of storms and will bark and get excited when they are coming. She has never been destructive though. Charly likes chew toys, to play ball, and to play hide and seek with her toys. She would love to sleep in the bed, but her owner doesn’t let her; therefore she is crated.
Could Charly be the girl for you?
