Original: Chance’s life has taken quite a few turns in his 7 years. Some years back he was living in a car with his owner until he was picked up by the pound. At that time, he had an ingrown toenail that was so long it was growing back into his foot. He was very skinny and completely neglected. Thankfully in 2002, he found his way into a MAESSR foster home which readily adopted him. Chance has been living the life of luxury since then, but the recent death of that owner has put him into a MAESSR foster home again. Right now, Chance is a very sad boy and can’t quite figure out what’s happened.
Chance is tall for a springer. He has long, straight legs and that old, Southern gentleman look about him. His gray eyelashes help give him a distinguished air. And, he is a bit of a storyteller also. He can get his mouth into a little O and will woo, woo, woo until his story is finished. He has no shame when climbing onto a lap and remains a bit of a garbage picker. Some old habits die hard.
Chance is a beautiful bench springer with mostly liver markings. There’s not a lot of white on his face, neck or back. He will be tested for Lyme disease since his brother tested positive for it. A round of antibiotics will take care of that if necessary. This boy is a serious love bug who deserves a home with a family who will treasure him and keep him safe for the rest of his life.
