Casey is an adorable eight-month-old puppy, who is very playful and loves to give kisses. Her original owners are getting divorce, and her human “grandmother” is physically unable to keep up with her. She wants the best for Casey and that is a home prepared to handle a puppy’s energy.
Casey is mostly housebroken, and has only one or two accidents per week. Her family has been working on the basic commands. She is not leash trained, and will dig in the yard, and chew indiscriminately like any puppy. Daytime activities are supervised by her stay-at-home “grandmother”, and Casey sleeps in a crate at night. Her longest car ride to date was one hour – she whimpered a bit and tried to jump in the front seat. It is recommended that Casey be restrained during future car rides.
She is friendly with strangers. She has had no exposure to children, except for spending one afternoon with a 6yr old, which went well. She has had little exposure to other animals. She has a full tail and has not been groomed. She has no issues with her paws or ears being handled.
In Casey’s eyes, the kitchen mop is evil! She will run & hide when it comes out.
Casey is looking for a loving family that will play tug and fetch with her squeaky ball, train her to become a well-behaved adult dog, treat her with ice cubes, and get lots of kisses in return. Can Casey be your forever girl?
