Original: Buddy came to MAESSR from northern Virginia after his owner returned to school and was working full time as well. His owner did not feel that Buddy was getting enough attention and exercise and felt Buddy was sad.
With a big fenced yard, lots of canine buddies and a foster family to give him lots of attention, Buddy is making the most of new opportunities. He really is a wonderful, fun, sweet, energetic, love bug. He is willing to be with you on any level. He will cuddle with you. He will run with you. When he is focused, he can catch a Frisbee in the air. Buddy is just an all-around great boy.
Buddy is housebroken, crate trained, pulls on the leash, and loves to ride in the car. He would enjoy some obedience training or agility classes with his adopting family. Buddy is athletic and can jump a 4-foot fence with ease. He doesn’t jump to run away, rather, he will jump the fence to get to his people. Buddy also loves to play ball and swim.
