Original: Bryce was a stray in a central Virginia shelter when MAESSR brought him into its program. He is one of the most loving, energetic springers his foster mom has run into. He just loves to be touched, petted and loved. The staff at the vet’s office said that to keep him still, you just had to pet him. They all thought he was a wonderfully sweet boy.
Bryce is crate trained and housetrained. He does pull on a leash due to his overly enthusiastic nature. Bryce loves all people. Unfortunately, he is a little too much to handle for a smaller child, so he will not be placed with children under twelve. Bryce loves water. His foster mom keeps a kiddie pool filled with water and Bryce constantly stays wet. He loves playing with the resident dogs, too. When it’s time to run errands, Bryce loves to accompany you and is a good passenger in the car. If you’re in the kitchen cooking, though, don’t put food too near the counter’s edge. Bryce will counter-surf if given the opportunity.
This boy is definitely a diamond in the rough. His foster home strongly recommends an obedience class for Bryce since he only knows the command “sit.” The structure and learning opportunities in a class will help Bryce know how to be the excellent companion he wants to be. Think very naughty but cute, little, wild boy…….and you have an idea of Bryce. He is so loveable that you forgive him very quickly.
Are you Bryce’s new best friend?
