Bogey is a 7-year-old, liver and white, neutered male who needs to find a new home because his owner is traveling and working long hours. He is left alone for very long periods of time (6am to 8pm) day after day, and his owner feels this is no life for a springer. He is housetrained and is left at large in the house all day without incident. He knows “sit, stay, come, down and off”. He is well behaved on a leash and off leash. He would rather be with his people than run off. He loves swimming and the beach, hiking and riding in the car. He is in excellent health and loves to “rock and roll” with two female doggy friends.
Bogey has experience with a 4-year-old child and an infant and has lived with two older cats in the past. Currently he is alone all day. Bogey likes to sort out the dirty laundry and has been known to dumpster dive. Could he be bored? He does not jump up on people; he knows but new acquaintances may get “tagged” with an enthusiastic greeting. On a very rare occasion, he may pee submissively if intimidated by a new person but that has not happened in the house. He loves people and has been a great friend and companion to his owner.
Could you be the next love in his life?
Update: 4/2003
