Original: Betsy currently resides with her owner but is looking for a new home because a family member has developed allergies and their doctor is urging the family to find a new home for her.
Betsy has a fatty tumor on her chest which will be removed before placement. Overall, Betsy is in good health. She is housebroken and good with children of all ages. She has been exposed to cats and good with them inside but will chase them outside. Like most Springers, Betsy will chase rabbits, moles, and other critters.
Betsy is protective of her house when strangers approach. She is kept in her yard with an invisible fence. The only time Betsy will dig is when burying a bone. Betsy will beg for food and steal it off of the counter if given the opportunity.
Betsy had two classes of obedience as a young dog. She can sit, down, and walks well on a leash. Betsy will pull when she sees a rabbit. Betsy is a very mild-tempered dog. Betsy likes to play ball and to be chased when she has the ball in her mouth. Betsy is a senior, so she does not play for extended periods of time.
Update: Betsy’s owner found a home for her.
