Original: “This sweet little boy is very confident and enjoys meeting new people and going to new places, always with a happy, wagging tail.”
Little Bit and her five puppies—Bentley, Bonnie, Mia, Willow, and Faith—came to MAESSR when their Tennessee owner started having financial issues. He loved his Springer mama and her pups, but knew MAESSR would find them homes where they would be loved and receive good care.
Bentley is a very curious, high energy puppy. This sweet little boy is very confident and enjoys meeting new people and going to new places, always with a happy, wagging tail. He also enjoys playing with other dogs and his toys and he seems to want to please his people.
His foster family is working on his crate training and house manners. This smart boy is already respecting baby gates and is not jumping up on them. There have been no accidents in his crate and Bentley potties as soon as he is walked outside. Good puppy!
The resident cat and Bentley have been introduced and he does not attempt to chase her. Since Bentley is very food motivated, teaching him commands should be easy.
Please note that MAESSR only places puppies in homes that are committed to training and bonding with the pup in obedience classes. Puppies require a lot of care, attention, and patience, and they do chew on things! The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious commitment. To reinforce this commitment, MAESSR requires all adopters of dogs one year old and younger to enroll their puppy in obedience classes within 60 days of adoption. Bentley will be the star of his puppy class!
This out-going boy would benefit being in a home with an active owner who will give Bentley all the exercise, attention, training, and love that he deserves.
