Original: Bella was turned in to a vet in North Carolina to be euthanized because the owners did not want her anymore. The vet contacted MAESSR, and she was brought into a MAESSR foster home.
Bella is a wonderfully sweet girl that woo woos at her foster parents and talks when they get home from work. She loves people! Just being with people and doing whatever they want to do gives her pleasure. Bella does get on furniture and would absolutely love to sleep in the bed with her foster family but there is no room. She is crate trained and totally housetrained. Bella is allowed free access to her foster home at all times and there have not been any issues.
Poor Bella came into rescue with a number of health issues that needed attention: knee injuries, bad teeth, and a fatty cyst on her back. Within ten days of coming into foster care, these health issues are behind her. Bella came through her surgery procedures really well. The surgeon repaired a torn ACL and two meniscus tears in her right leg. In addition, she had eight teeth extracted. Once she recovers from surgery, she should be feeling GREAT!
There will be more updates on this sweetheart as she recuperates.
