Poor Bayley, his owner is going to school and can’t take him. His mother would keep him but with another disabled dog in the house she just can’t care for them both.
Bayley is doll. He is small and stocky and loves all people and dogs. He met three Springers and took to like he knew them his whole life. Bayley was great on leash for a 16-year-old and with all the kids he met. This dog is just in the wrong place and wrong time.
Bayley is basically a healthy dog. Sometimes his hind leg shakes (just recently started). He cannot take Interceptor or Sentinel as it causes diarrhea. They use Heartguard.
Bayley’s two favorite things are treats and a favorite large towel to lie on. He dislikes loud sudden noises, baths, nail clipping, ear cleaning, but who doesn’t?
Bayley is good with cats.
Bayley is good on leash. If not excited, he will sit, stay, lie down. He shakes with both hands and speaks. He is housebroken but doesn’t like a crate, though he will tolerate it.
This is a sweet dog looking for someone to take him on long walks. Can you give this boy a home?
Thanks to the generosity of one of our foster homes, Bayley has a place to live temporarily. He has fit in well with the other dogs and cats. He is still in need of a permanent place to live.
Update:
Bayley is an older dog who just doesn’t know it. He flies off of the deck to play with the other dogs and runs around in the yard with the best of them. His post play naps maybe a little deepr than the younger dogs, but he’s ready to go when the nap is done. He’s got a great deal to offer your family.
