Update 09/14/10:
Bandit has let his charming personality shine in his foster home. He is a great boy that adores toys of all shapes, sizes, and sound levels. Bandit follows his foster mom around and drops his ball into whatever she is doing. If she is unloading the dishwasher, then the ball is dropped into the dishwasher. If she is folding laundry, the ball is dropped on the pile of clean clothes. If she absolutely cannot play with him, he will find ways to entertain himself.
This boy is ready to go steal someone else’s heart. Let it be yours!
Original:
Bandit 7 and Molly Blu were relinquished to MAESSR when their owner’s health became so bad she could no longer care for them.
Quite the entertainer, Bandit had been taught many tricks. He can “wave,” “shake,” and do several other tricks besides knowing basic commands such as “sit” and “down.” His name is a fitting one since he is an expert counter-surfer. Although his name may stay, his foster family is teaching him that stealing from the counter is not appropriate Springer behavior. Both housetrained and crate trained, this sweet boy sleeps quietly through the night in his crate in his foster home.
Bandit’s fun-filled personality is especially apparent when he plays with his toys. He can play fetch for hours, bringing back the ball and putting it down when you tell him to “drop it.” He also loves to ride in the car and be in on all the action in the house.
Although he is amenable to most everything, the only thing that Bandit does not like is to have his feet trimmed or toe nails clipped. He is muzzled when anything needs to be done to his feet to ensure that he does not do any more than complain about what you are doing. When you are petting him, you can touch his feet with no problem; however, he just does not like you to “do” anything to them.
More on this sweet boy as he steals his foster mom’s heart.
