Original: Bandit was relinquished to MAESSR because he wanted to be the dominant dog in his home. This resulted in fights with the other resident dog. His owner decided to re-home him so he could be in a family with no other dogs.
Bandit is a very cute, loving boy and weighs about 41 pounds. He is well trained with an extensive repertoire of commands, including “sit,” “stay,” “come,” “find it,” “bring it,” “drop it,” “off,” “paw,” and “down.” He will pull a little bit on the leash. Bandit is totally housebroken. He is not crate trained and does not like to be crated. Since his house manners are so good, that is really not an issue. He loves to ride in the car. Bandit also likes to be on the furniture and to sleep in a “people” bed, so his foster parents are working with him on those issues.
Bandit’s favorite place to be is in your lap with you loving on him. His favorite activity, other than getting loved on, is playing ball. He can play ball for hours! Bandit is just very people-oriented. Playing ball, snuggling in a lap, or holding out for an invitation at bedtime all come easily to him. Are you ready for this boy to steal your heart?
