Original: Aristotle came into foster care after having been found as a stray. This boy is very sweet and loving. He craves attention and affection from the people around him constantly. At the same time, this youngster listens well and is anxious to please. He has lots of energy, typical of a normal springer at this age. For all these reasons, his foster mom feels Aristotle would make a great working dog, with potential to excel in agility, field tracking, or obedience.
He is still a baby in many ways. His basic obedience, including leash manners, needs to be completed with his adopting family. Aristotle is crate trained, but needs some work with housebreaking at this time. Patience will come with his being settled into a forever family, and his “yodeling” to get attention will likely diminish.
Aristotle gets along great with other dogs and cats. He is a handsome fellow and has the potential to grow into an active partner in a wide variety of dog sports. He will do best with a family who has the time to invest in guiding him into his potential. And along the way, a loyal and loving companionship can be shared.
