Angie is enjoying her forever home.

Who doesn’t like jewels in small packages? Here is one for you to celebrate the new year. Angie is a sweet petite field bred girl looking for a new home. She was rescued from an abusive situation by a relative. Unfortunately, Angie and one of the resident female dogs can’t seem to find common ground. She gets along fine with the other female dog in the house. Angie is good with children and has lived with a 15-year-old, 13-year-old and 9-year-old.
She is generally good with other dogs but may growl if they growl at her first. Angie seems to be the submissive one. She basically ignores the 8-year-old cat that she has stayed with.
Angie is generally a laid back girl who likes to sleep on the sofa. She will go in a crate but whines a little at first. She is used to the crate being covered. She is house broken and will stare at you when she needs to go out then go to the door. She will scratch at the door when she is ready to come back in. She can jump a baby gate in a single bound. This was discovered as she was gated away from the kitty food and box and when her name was called she jumped the gate to get back to her people.
Since living in her new home her playful personality has begun to shine. She loves to play ball and chew on bones. She will howl when excited and tries to talk to you.
Angie hasn’t had any formal obedience but knows “no.” She needs some work on leash and will pull some. She has had some work on this and is doing better. She is used to a fenced yard and will come when called inside the fenced area. Angie has never been to the groomer but is great for a home bath. She LOVES to go on car rides.
Could Angie be your treasure for the new year?
