WELCOME HOME! ULTIMATE GUIDE FOR ALL NEWLY-ADOPTED PUPPIES & DOGS DVD (1 hr. 40 Min) by Paul Owens. In this brand-new video, bestselling author (‘The Dog Whisperer’) and positive training expert Paul Owens, The Original Dog Whisperer, provides step-by-step instructions using the same tried and true, positive, force-free, reward-based methods that he has used to train dogs over his 40 year career. Donated by Cathy Moyer.
THROUGH A DOG’S EAR: MUSIC FOR THE CANINE HOUSEHOLD CD (Total running time 61:07.) Uplifting and psychoacoustically designed classical music can be played for the enjoyment & relaxation of people while simul-taneously creating a positive sound environment for dogs. The selections from Music for the Canine Household are not as deeply calming as the music found on the Music to Calm Your Canine Companion series; however, given that dogs and people live together, there are times when you want your animal to relax without falling asleep yourself. Music for the Canine Household is a little more stimulating, with quicker tempos and slightly more complex arrangements and orchestration.
Rainbow Bridge Crossings
Permanent foster KATIE 9 was fostered by CANDI LYNN. Miss Katie was a joy and a definite love. She loved her walks, enjoying the outdoors and simply hanging around her foster mom. When Katie saw the leash come out, she was ready to go! Walking in the back field seemed to be her favorite spot to take her walks as she could smell all the creatures that once passed by in the field. A perfect little lady in the house, she was certainly trusted in all aspects. Katie enjoyed her special meals including her 13th birthday meal and especially loved those chicken jerky treats. Her eyes would light up when she saw her foster mom open the bag and she was more than ready to come and get it! Unfortunately, Katie started having seizures, and her vets felt that she most likely had a brain tumor after reviewing the videos of her seizures and evaluating her. Sadly, it was decided to not let Katie suffer, and she peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge in her foster mom’s arms. Katie spent her senior years being loved. She gave much love and received love back tenfold. Katie is definitely missed and will always be remembered. God speed, Miss Katie!
