*FEISTY FIDO: HELP FOR THE LEASH REACTIVE DOG (23 pages) by Patricia McConnell, PhD and Karen London, PhD. This second edition of a McConnell/London classic is better than ever! Updated and revised to be even more user-friendly than before, Feisty Fido is designed for anyone (novice or professional) who works with dogs who are overly reactive to other dogs when on leash. Rainbow Bridge Crossings
COOPER 5 (class of 2013) came to MAESSR as a result of a conflict with a young family member and became a foster failure for KATHI BECK‘s family. Cooper loved to be outside and would try to “climb” the trees in the yard while chasing birds. He somehow knew when it was Friday night and would bark like crazy because he knew it was Greenies night. He loved to snuggle and get kisses. This fourteen-year-old was loved very much and will be missed. Run free, sweet boy.
BELLA 7 (class of 2013) was much-loved by her family but came to MAESSR due to a concern with a stranger. She was fostered by DEBBIE LIPCSEY and was an absolute angel. Bella was adopted by ILONKA DAZEVEDOT‘s family. Her health had been declining for some time and while her hearing went a few years ago, she became totally blind within the past 4 months. Her family had the opportunity to have a vet come to the house which was the best gift they could give her. She is missed beyond belief!
Beautiful NOSEY ROSIE (SADIE 13, class of 2014) was adopted by MIKE JENSEN‘s family. She was a wonderful, loving pooch who spent her years loving visits from the grandkids, going on walks & taking dips in the pool. Stealing towels, chasing squirrels, birds & rabbits in the backyard brought her joy. Vestibular Syndrome presented obstacles in her later years, but she fought through it, surprising the family & her vet. The Jensens are so thankful to Debbie Lipsey and wonderful foster mom CATHY MOYER for trusting them & the years they spent with Rosie. Rest well, good girl.
